A big part of the deal for the Oilers would be Co sa, who could come in and compete for the starting job and be Edmontons goalie of the future as well. Co sa was selected 15th overall in 2021 and is one of the top goalie prospects in hockey. However, he doesnt have a path to playing time, so Detroit could look to move him, . While this trade is intriguing, and getting back Justin Holl would also be something the Oilers would be in favor of, it'd be tough to justify in some sense.
