star William Nylander got some attention for the wrong reason this weekend. Out with an injury, Nylander was seated in a suite at Toronto's game when the Sportsnet cameras captured him and his injured teammates live during their broadcast. The problem? Nylander flipped the bird at the camera. After a lot of social media chatter about the moment, Nylander i sued an apology on his Instagram. "Only love for Leafs nation," Nylander wrote with some hearts. "Sorry about my moment of frustration toady! Didn't mean to upset anyone. Looking forward to being back on the ice and not in the stands ( Parker Jacobs Jersey crying emoji), love Willy." He also craftily covered up his hand with heart hands: William Nylander has apologized for flipping the bird to the camera during today's broadcast of Leafs-Avs, calling it a "moment of frustration." This is from Nylander's IG: Chris Johnston (@reporterchris) MORE: It's fair for Nylander to be frustrated. In the midst of a season not going as well as the Maple Leafs would want, he's now forced to watch rather than being on the ice. He knows he made a mistake, and he's owned up to it. Toronto will now just await the time Nylander can get back out there in uniform. More NHL news: Talbott Denny Jersey
