McQueen is currently on an amateur tryout contract with the AHL's San Diego Gulls and has three points (one goal, two a sists) in six games. He was the No. 10 overall pick in the 2025 NHL Draft out of Providence College, where he had 27 points (11 goals, 16 a sists) in 36 games this season. McQueen previously played in the WHL with the Brandon Wheat Kings. He's a 6-foot-6 forward who has also represented Canada at various youth levels of international hockey.
